Looking for information on S.G. (Sherman Grant) Farrar. This information was taken from a book that had a sticker saying that the book was from the private library of S.G Farrar of Albion Illinois. His father was Jno. Farrar b. Dec. 19, 1819 d.Nov. 4, 1884. Info I have says he married Sarah (may be an E. it is cursive) Farrar who was born what looks like Aug. 15, 1845 d. Jul. 17, 1887. Their children were Barbara, Jana, Parlee, Sherman Grant (S.G. - my ggrandfather I am searching for), Lola and Lucinda. Sherman married M. E Shourd Sept. 7, 1897 (she died in 1905). He then married Vica Viola Oneal Anglin.

Hi. my name is Lesa. My maiden name is Nash. I'm just a beginner at geneaology. I have a lot of gaps. Nash's are hard to find I found out. These are the lines I am looking into: George Nash born in 1838 in England and immigrated to US in 1839. He married Elizabeth (born 1842 in England). They were married in 1861 and settled in Edwards County Illinois. They had nine children. Hannah Vincent George A Clara Alice Eliza Frank Alfred Harriet George A Nash (Sept 15, 1865) Married Mary Catherine Chism in 1883. Eight Children born to this marriage. Harry, George, Gilbert, Charles A., Mae, Pearl, Hattie, and an infant girl who died shortly after birth. Son George (born 1888) married Lucy Horton (Born 1887, Albion) in 1914. Two sons were born. George S. and Wilbur H. George S. Nash (born 1918) married Mary E Leach (born 1919) Of Golden Gate Illinois in 1940. Their Children are Barbara Alice (born 1946) married Raymond F. Noonan (born 1947) and George Robert (born 1948) married Peggy Ann Reany (born 1949). Their children George Timothy and David Robert. Wilbur H. Nash born 1921 married Allegra M. West born 1923 of Anna Illinois in 1947. Their children are Deborah W. married Marion E Cooper. David Maston married Brenda Witherspoon: and Diane Doris. George Nash died in 1957. His widow was named Lucy. I know her son, George, recided in New York State. Her son Wilbur resided in Evansville Indian. My line comes from George Nash (born 1838). He was my Great Great Great Great ? Grandfather. Most of the Nash Histroy I mentioned above was from the Edwards County Historical Book. If you have any info on these families please let me know. (5) Walter Wheeler, DDS, E. Main St, Albion, IL (6) "Sade" and Walter Wheeler, E. Main St., Albion The last thing clearly marked Albion is a birth announcement card that reads: Born to Dr. and Mrs. W. H. Brosman, a son, Paul W., Nov. 9th, Eighteen Hundred and Ninety Nine, Albion, Il. Weight 9 1/2 lbs. Wish I had a scanner. Also, there's an envelope from Duke's Photo shop in Albion. William Fredrick Furman was born in Fond du Lac, county, Wisconsin in 1895, the youngest brother of my father-in-law, he had four older brothers Stephen, Edward Joseph and George, their parents were Eliza Gilman Furman and Francis Marion Furman. Fred married Dora Coles, a widow with three sons, Glen,Ross and Eugene Coles in Montana, moved to Edwards county in 1926, he was active in the American Legion, and VFW, and also worked for the post office in Albion, Il. Dora and Fred had three daughters, Fred died in 1949 at the age of 54, he is the only part of our Furman family we haven't been able to trace.
