To Sally Wyatt who was inquiring about the Wyatt's who cane to Edwards County in the 1820s. There are a number of Wyatts buried in Green Hill Cemetery, Richland County, Noble, IL. I have photos of two grave stones in this cemetery: J. Virgil Wyatt 1919 - 1995 and Margaret E Wyatt 1823 - James M. Wyatt 6-16-1940 to 11-2-1940 In the early 1940s, a husband and Wife Wyatt ran a county store in Wayne County. The husband was crippled from a fall. He landed feet first, broke his legs and these were thrust into his body. After that, he was disabled and of shortened height. He ran the grocery part by sitting on the counter. His wife provided the remainder of the work that required mobility. Does any of this fit with your family tree?

Peter is my direct line. He either had one or two wives-Mary and/or Margaret-born 1808IL. They had 8-10 children, two may not be theirs. The children are Lucinda, Mary Ann, Mary M., ELIZA JANE/JEAN, Franklin, James, Joseph/Josiah, Washington, Margaret, and John. The children were all born in Edwards between 1827 adn 1839. THE OTHER SURNAMES MENTIONED ARE THEIR SPOUSES. Please write if you have or are seeking information on any of these Edwards Co. people. Thanks
